How do I find/start hooping in DC?

Hello,

I'm a transplant from NY, and I'm trying to start hooping. I would know where to go in New York, but being new I have no idea where to try in DC. Is there a group site, or do I have to know someone? Do you guys have regular meet ups?

    Hi hannah! Welcome to DC. I also just moved here about a month ago. I haven't found a regular hoop gathering. I am looking into finding a space for winter where we can have a regular space to meet no matter the weather. If anyone can recommend a space, that would be lovely.

    I have also found that it is sometimes possible to manifest an impromptu hoop gathering. The hoopers that I have met so far are wonderful, talented and open!

    Also, I do know that Inspyra (who is a member of this tribe) is offering a few hoop classes in the dc area in November. I would connect with her if you would like to learn the basics.
